Can't get parts for it

We've had this toilet for 6 years now. In the beginning, it was great! The power of the flush (not the volume of water, the power) was enough that it never clogged. Seriously. We haven't used our plunger in almost 6 years. Then, the parts started failing. One by one. Long ago, the auto clean thing went. And that was ok cause we were having a hard time finding the cartridges for it and we were cleaning it anyway so it didn't matter. Well, earlier this year, it started running after you'd flush ...

I had to have parts replaced twice. One problem persists though; I have to stand over it to be sure it quits running after flushing.

ActiClean Does Not Work

Recently, I went to activate the ActiClean system. I opened the top of the cleaning buttons and the button lights lit up. I pushed the button to do a Quick clean and nothing happened. I waited awhile after closing the button access door. I opened the door again and pushed the Deep clean button. Nothing happened. Batteries were changed. No indicator lights came on. Nothing improved. No cleaning action occurred.

No longer need to clean the toilet with a brush on a weekly basis - can relegate that to once a month… thanks to Using the quick cycle every night before going to sleep and the deep cycle every Saturday night

Before you buy - consider this opinion

First, I have 2 of these mainly because past bad reviews might have scared people off. Things to know: 1. This VorMax® toilet bowl is different in that it must "prime." The first time you flush it (test flush w/clean water) it might scare you because the water rides pretty high in the bowl. Let it go down and flush again. Great porcelain throne

I really like how this is a complete set. Some toilets do not come with a lid (sold separately)- but this one did! It was an east set up. All in all 5 stars! Aesthetically- It’s a sleek toilet!

Disappointing Reliability

Auto clean function failed after a year in operation. Internal water filler apparatus requires replacement more frequently than standard toilets.

It's a gimmick, don't buy

This toilet had issues since day one, and I purchased 2 of them. Every few days after someone flushes the toilet the chain gets stuck between the gasket (flapper) and the sidewall which prevents the the gasket (flapper) from closing, causing the toilet to continue to flushing until someone hears it and jiggles the handle. Also the "self clean" is useless, it's as effective as pouring windex in your toilet and then flushing it. Buyer beware... its a poorly designed gimmicky toilet that is over p...

Very nice replacement plus self cleaning!

Fairly simple to install and I was able to replace my existing toilet with the Acticlean one fairly quickly and without any issues. Works great and the cleaning function is very cool!
