Difficult to put together, but is it worth $300+?

This took me 3 attempts to put together. I tried alone and struggled, 2 people will help. The directions could be more clear, both of the side panels were bent but I could easily flex the steel back into place. I found it easier to build upright vs laying on the floor. I had no issues fitting a 4x12 40-50mm scoped .243 in the cabinet. The shelves are a bit shallow. I used gift cards so I only paid $60-70 out of pocket. I am not sure I would be happy with this purchase if I paid full price...

I let some time pass before submitting a review, so I wasn't unfair. Gave it a 3 overall but for what it is, the unit itself, it's really more of a 4.5 (based just on the completed unit). It keeps the guns safe but is more cabinet than "safe" in the sense we use the word in the modern vernacular. Not worth the money

The assembly was overly complicated with poor instructions. The materials are a cheap sheet metal product. For nearly $600, I would have expected something a lot more durable than this. It’s just a cheap cabinet for an expensive price. Having put over an hour into assembling it, I won’t return it though. It’ll suffice for shotgun and ammo storage in a closet, but that’s about it.

This thing is junk

Some parts are not welded straight. The lock is a 99 cent piece of junk. All the tumblers came out first time I tried to lock it. I be embarrassed to sell it with the name American on it. Don’t buy it !!!!

This puppy is interesting and pretty difficult to assemble!! Instructions are poor. Somethings are inside, others out when "sliding" together before bolting. Just get some of the bolts in finger tight (at corners) and stand up. Once up things click together well and the other bolts can be put in....much easier. I gave it a 4 because of assembly (being kind!). Once together I really like it. Will keep kids out and secure enough to keep most thieves out.....as long as you have an alarm sys...
