LOWES IS THE WORST

LOWES LET ME KNOW MY MONTHLON ORDER WAS READY FOR PICK UP. I ARRANGED FOR MY CONTRACTOR TO POIC K UO TH 3' X 8' DOOR. WHEN HE ARRIVED THE DOOR JAMB WAS BROKEN OFF. LOWES DID NTO EVEN BOTHER TO TELLME THAT THE DOOR WAS DAMANGED INSTEAD JUST HAD ME ARRANGE TO PICK IT UP. HE DID NOT, AND I AM STILL DEALNG WITHIT. LOWES IS THE WORST.

Not the best quality

The doors look ok, but it are sloppily made. Both doors we ordered have issues closing, as the stopper inside the box was installed too close and the slab would hit it. I had to pay extra to my contractor for him to shave off a bit of wood from the slab so the door will close properly.

Order early

The product ( special order 96 inch door and jam) was not packaged, only held together with 2 plastic bands. There was damage to one corner and several marks on the jam. I had a time sensitive installation so could not return the door. In future I would order early and order 2 doors, keep the best one and return the second

Not too Happy with the way it arrived

This is a special order because the size so I waited almost 2 months. When I got the door it had quit a few pretty big gashes in it I was pretty disappointed because I paid almost $700 and waited almost 2 months. However, I don’t have a truck to take it back that’s why I had it delivered. Additionally, I’ve been without a door for months and I work nights so I sleep during the day so really need a door on my room. Even with sanding and painting you’ll be able to see the gashes. Pretty disappoint...

Good option for large barn doors

I used two of these doors to make a large barn door for our house. Quality is fine for pine, they were easy to paint in one coat, and overall I’m pleased with the result.
