Powerful Warming Rack!
This Towel Warmer by Amba Products® is rated at 150 watts. It is the highest power rating of all the many warming racks I found online, and is just what I need for my thick load of towels. The hardwired electrical connection is located at the lower right corner, but I could run 14/3 Romex™ to the left side far more easily. So I rotated the rack 180°, placing the power connection in the upper left position. Amba supplies a black metal plate with a 1¼" hole for the conduit entry into the electrica...

Great towel warmer
I had an electrician install it along with a Honeywell programmable timer. I can time it per day to come on/off as desired and it is fantastic. While it is true the towels do not feel straight out of the dryer, they are warm and super dry and it feels like a little luxury. Since I did not install myself, I cannot comment on the ease but the electrician had no problems at all.

Not very effective
Towels do not warm evenly or very well overall. Better to throw a towel in your clothes dryer prior to showering.

Does not heat enough
Only patches of the towel are warm. If this weren't hard wired and set directly into the drywall, I would have returned it. I told my contractor I wanted to try it before setting it... he did not listen (to that and many other things!).

Great size but recommend getting one with a timer
This is exactly what we were expecting, but I do regret not getting a timer. We thought we would just add one ourselves at the end but the request confused the electrician, so I recommend just buying the version with the timer. This size works great and fits two towels, and we love the black finish!

High quality.
Very well designed. will need someone who knows what they are doing to install. My installer said it was easy. Very easy to use. Takes 10 min at most to warm. Easy to turn on and off.
