Amana 6.5-cu ft Vented Gas Dryer ( White )

I bought this dryer after my previous dryer quit working. I have used it several times now and it seems to be a good choice.

Excellent dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does exactly what it’s designed to do, dry your clothes, and at an affordable price. Previous dryer had all the bells and whistles that never got used. This one put in wet clothes pick what setting and push the button, dry clothes come out, simple.

solid basic gas dryer, would buy again-4 months in

I bought this about four months ago and have no real complaints. If you don't need a ton of different modes, it works just fine. It basically just has high heat (auto or timed) or low heat (auto or timed), and maybe a no-heat tumble only. I use auto low heat on all my clothes and use high on sheets/towels/etc. That's been working just fine for our family of four. I'm hoping there's less to break since it's a basic model. It fits a good amount of clothes in it (larger than the very old d...

Great dryer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer was sold out at my local store and I had to drive across town to get me one and it was worth it. Great features including wrinkles prevent option. Will highly recommend. :-)

I purchased a gas dryer from lowes this past Saturday. When I got the dryer the installation kit was incomplete. So I went up to lowes to get the part that I needed. When I got the part they tried to make me pay for it. I spoke with the manager Kaye and she told me to take the part and get out of her store and never come back. So I asked for her manager. His name is Adrien. I came back today to talk to him about my experience at his store. The customer service rep would not even give me her name...

Basic bare bones dryer

Bought this dryer because my Kenmore dryer finally died and it's what will fit. This dryer is basically the same as the Kenmore I had except for 3 things. #1 no light in the drum. #2 no buzzer to tell you the dryer is done. #3 the lint screen is flimsy. I can get over that. But what I don't like is about every 5 minutes or so there's a vibration noise. Like something is loose.

4 Years Old & Broken

We’ve only had this dryer for 4 years and it’s already broken. Only ran once or twice a week and one day just stopped getting hot. Very disappointed.

Great dryer so far

It's quiet! Has four different heat settings. The door latch is a little hard to open and close which makes me nervous sometimes. The drum is huge so lots of space and so far I have no complaints other than the door latch. First time even hearing about this brand, but it was the cheapest and that's what I needed most.

Washing machine

Was broke the very first day wouldn't work after they installed it I would never buy another one again from Lowe's. Had to go to the laundromat to do my laundry which cost me money Yes they did replace it the next day but I had to argue with the person that was installing it because he didn't want to install it, he had to lift it up

Big door, shallow drum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this over a month ago and overall I'm happy with it. My one complaint would be the distance between the bottom of the drum to the opening is too shallow. Every time I open it something falls out onto the floor. The door is also very large which contributes to this problem. My previous dryer never did this. It needs a smaller door and deeper drum.
