Amana 6.5-cu ft Vented Gas Dryer ( White )

I purchased a gas dryer from lowes this past Saturday. When I got the dryer the installation kit was incomplete. So I went up to lowes to get the part that I needed. When I got the part they tried to make me pay for it. I spoke with the manager Kaye and she told me to take the part and get out of her store and never come back. So I asked for her manager. His name is Adrien. I came back today to talk to him about my experience at his store. The customer service rep would not even give me her name...

Dries nice and fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice dryer...dries clothes quickly! I didn't think I would miss a buzzer signaling end of dry time, but I do...that would be my only complaint of product. Not a deal breaker, though!

Bought this dryer and matching washer online Wednesday. It was delivered Friday. On Sunday we tried to wash clothes and the dryer didn't work. Since we paid cash and it was past the 48 hrs deadline, (30 days is only for their credit customers) we now have to pay $150 to have a serviceman come look at it to tell us what is wrong with a brand new dryer that has never been run. We're on a fixed income. This was an extravagant purchase for us. Now to have to pay to repair for a brand new dryer is ...

Lowes doesn't stand by their products

After installing this product, it wouldn't turn on. Just a humming noise when holding down the start button. Called Lowes and because we paid cash, they couldn't do anything to help us after 48 hours. Manager hung up on my wife when she asked if we could return it. Had to go through Whirlpool to have someone come out to fix it. $150 fee on a dryer we have yet to use. Will never buy from Lowes again.

Well i purchased everything that goes with the dryer for installing. But when guys came they said that they couldn't install due to my pipe was not a 1/2 inch. So i guess what i purchased from them with the dryer couldn't be put on. The guys said i needed a plummer. Which i did not. I found someone else to come over and hook everthing up.

Terrible extended warranty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer doesn't have a light our a buzzer to let you no when close are done.Would'nt have purchased this model knowing it doesn't have basic options. Tried to return it back but there was a restocking fee of 40 percent.

Plain but efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I needed a dryer, this was the only one on the floor that was available (couldn't wait for 2 months to custom order). Wrong color and VERY basic. But it works like a charm. Dries clothes quickly. Just goes to show you that you don't need 20 settings. And it holds a lot of clothes. Does it's job.
