What Customers Are Saying

The Amana window air conditioner has a mixed performance. Some users found it powerful, quiet, and effective at cooling a room, while appreciating its lightweight design and easy installation. However, many customers experienced issues with the unit, such as it stopping cooling or malfunctioning within a few months. Concerns were raised about the product's quality and durability, with problems reported with the remote control, buttons, and electronic components. While some users were satisfied, the high rate of early failures and technical problems suggests this air conditioner may not be as reliable as expected.

Best buy for you Buck

Bought this A/C window unit about a couple of weeks ago. Wow what a big difference it made in keeping us cool with these temperatures that we have been having lately. I'm already thinking about getting another unit.

Cools well. Takes time to install.

Have only had it in the window air few days, it is cooling the room very well. Its average noise. The only downside was having to take it apart and put it in the window that part was the decision on 3 stars. Otherwise its been good for the couple of days I've used it.

Does the dehumidifier work separate from the cooling function or does it have to keep cooling to dehumidify? I need it for cold, humid days.
