Lightweight
It is not steady. Don’t trust it to hold gazing ball. A slight breeze will blow it over.

Not Sturdy
Not packaged well and the item is very unstable. Will not hold a glass gazing ball without tipping over. Material does not appear to be a heavy-duty metal as anticipated. Then, Lowes will not allow this to be shipped back and we do not have a Lowe's within 3 hours of us. What a waste. Do not recommend.

Good looking display stand
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Alpine Globe Display Stand is a good looking stable base formy gazing globe whether I have in inside or outside. The stand is powder coated, rather than painted to help prevent corrosion. I love it on my deck but prefer it inside during the cold months. Very nice product!

Perfect Replacement for my Gazing Ball
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a perfect height and weight for my gazing ball. I wanted low to the ground in my garden and I just love it. I'm very happy with the quality. I'm really hoping it will not rust out or fade out but I'm not too worried. I wanted the gazing globe to stand out and not the stand.
