I make custom wooden flags and decor mostly out of reclaimed wood. I don’t use particle board very often and didn’t expect much better results from the initial cutout parts. The thickness of the particle board was exactly as advertised. The porosity of the board was within reasonable amount to be painted into a solid looking piece.
