Absolute junk
Beautiful look and was shipped fast. Installed the next day. Upon first use the fan sounded like a wood chipper. Upon inspection the plastic housing for the motor was cracked causing fan to vibrate when activated. ( I took this out of the box myself with care and installed it without any issues). Customer service sent me a new fan/housing. Unfortunately to remove the old fan I had to work carefully not to damage the surrounding new wall tile. New motor installed without any issue...

New Kitchen
The AKDY range hood is a stylish and functional upgrade to any kitchen. Its sleek, modern design looks great, and installation was quick and easy. The touch controls and LED lighting add a nice, high-end touch. It runs quietly while effectively clearing smoke and odors—overall, highly recommended! Just a heads-up: the filters aren’t included, which was a bit of a letdown. It would’ve been nice if they came with the unit.
Love this range hood.
Son and husband installed this, after old one taken down. It's so much quiter than the old one. I purchased the charcol filters seperately. I think they help keep the noise down. Nice little lights, when cooking. Fan noise on low is barely noticeable and on high, stil very tolerable as compared to my old cheap one. Thanks

Beautiful - but fan is NOISY!
It took two of us to install and some difficult measuring and strained neck muscles. It's very awkward holding the unit up while trying to mark where the screws go. My shipment didn't have any screws/hardware included, so I had to improvise and find my own to fit. Also one of the screens locking mechanisms is broken and won't stay in the unit. I think it's missing a spring. The fan is uncomfortably loud and rattles quite a bit and I can't imagine using the fan anytime soon. I love the lights, so...

This item should never have been boxed. It has black smudges all over it that do not come off. I called the manufacturer as required by them. I have not heard back.
