Installed 7/1/26 Had to drain tank 4 times to get rust and sediment out. Used two days and stopped heating, tried to reset, no luck. Returned to Lowe's for another one. Told Lowe's the next installation would be on them. So far so good. Stay away from this brand.

anode seized
Tried to remove anode with electric impact , air impact even a 6' cheater bar wouldnt budge it . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BRAND .

12 yr model costs more, but worth the money. Half the cost of replacing a tanked water heater is the labor/service charges, so buy a reliable brand (A.O. Smith) and buy their longest warranty model. I've been using their pool heaters and pool pumps and my contractor brothers said hey, they now make home water heaters, with the same quality parts and assembly as their other products. Thumbs up to A.O. Smith.

This water heater has been working perfectly since I had it installed. I have noticed consistent hot water. I had to turn the temperature down because I felt in medium heat, it was to hot.
