85% lower usage
My tank heater used 2700/cf each month. This tankless unit uses 400/cf per month. That's an 85% reduction is gas usage. Very pleased.

LOUD
So far seems like a decent unit but boy it is loud. Maybe thats just my unit but it has a significant rattle/vibration when turned on. Sometimes its normal and doesn't rattle and sounds normal but it seems like 90% of the time is has a loud obnoxious rattling noise. Hopefully someone from AO Smith sees this and can reach out to me if it's not normal.

Powerful Tankless Water Heater
This tankless water heater is powerful! I have a 3Bd/2Ba home in central Indiana and this unit runs great and provides endless hot water. This is my second tankless installed (replaced the tank in my previous home as well) so I had prior experience to completing this install. Setup was a breeze.
