Control function are easy to use
We had good luck with AO Smith water heater. The old one was replaced after 12 years and still working, but placed it for preventative measures.

Nice upgrade.
So far so good. It was a bit tricky getting all set up. Lots of codes to deal with. Not used to that. But I will say it good the temperature very well for a very long time. Like a day or two with out using any gas to reheat.

AO Smith Power Vent Water Heater
We purchased a power vent water heater since it is located in the garage with no chimney access. This unit was installed smoothly. Used 2" ABS piping with two 90 degree joints to vent the exhaust out via to a side-wall of the garage. The noise is a fairly low volume hum that can't be heard inside our home unless an adjacent window is open.

Efficient
I purchased the tank in early spring and it was installed by Lowes in mid June. This tank is an upgrade from electric to gas in our newly remodeled home. The tank has performed quite well and is very efficient so far. It recovers quickly & easily supplies all the hot water we need. The thing that impressed me most is how quiet this power vent tank is compared to the power vent tank in my previous home. Fine water heater
I've had this water heater for over a year without issue. The only nit I've noticed so far is the plastic drain valve, which ideally would be switched out for a brass one.
