Please Explain
Can somebody from AO Smith please explain why I can't get both a 12-year warranty and a Uniform Energy Factor of at least .65 in an AO Smith 40 gallon short water heater from Lowes? I can have one OR the other, it appears.

Height for low ceilings
I bought this 11/06/19 to replace my leaky Power Direct water heater. I like that it has a lower height for my 6' ceiling. This heater seems a bit noisier on the air intake than the replaced one. Adjustments to the heat range was manageable. Otherwise the installation went fairly easy.

Installation was a snap
Replaced a 21 yr old water heater with this unit. The install was very simple. This unit runs very quiet. I like the features it has such as the vacation setting. So far so good. Five Star

Easy to install
The only problem I encountered with the water heater was the plastic caps on the nipples. We couldnt decide if we should leave them on or take them off. We had to call. Everything else went good. I have noticed a very slight drip out of the relief valve. But I have installed a thermal expansion tank and hope this helps the problem.
