The product is fine. The Store Manager, in Canandaigua, is amazing !! He solved, what appeared to be, an unsolvable problem. He arranged a direct shipment to the job site. He ordered the water heater on Friday and it was delivered on Monday. Tremendous service.

Seemed like an ideal replacement for our undercounter water heater. Side connections made installation easier than the previous model's top connections in tight spaces. Worked great until one day we looked in to find water in the pan and the insulation soaked. The pan saved us from damaging the downstairs neighbor's condo. Now I have for try for a warranty replace and do a lot of work to remove and replace it.

Very bad hot water heater

I had a brand new AO Smith electric hot water heater installed that has a dangerous defect from the factory and needs replacement. For the warranty coverage I need to have it uninstalled and return to Lowes to swap for replacement. They have no tech in the area to do the work so I need to get my own plumber and they will reimburse $150. So the plumber charges $200 to start a service call and $70 an hour after the first hour. What a burn, their unit is defective and it will cost me what? How m...
