Doesn't like hard water
Only lasted 6 years and I have a water softener installed. Worst part is that you have to return the broken one before you get the new one and pay the plumber $$$ to sit there while you travel back and forth to the store. They would not let me pay for the new one and get a refund when I returned the broken one either.

Nice water heater
Nice water heater. Like the app to control temperature & vacation mode
The warranty and Bluetooth features sold us.
We selected this model because it interfaces with Blue tooth and it has a longer warranty than the other 40 gallon that we looked at .
Working smoothly except for the app
It was fairly easy to install and is working as expected two weeks in. No leaks, the water is hot, and the energy use is about the same as my last tank. It did require an upgrade to a 30amp breaker. I still haven't gotten the app to work, after multiple calls to the hotline, which is why I only gave 4 stars. It would be nice for all the features to work smoothly right out of the box.
Great hot water heater
Very easy to install! I heats up very fast and a very nice led screen. Definitely user friendly.
