What Customers Are Saying
The shiplap product received mixed reviews. While many customers were satisfied with the quality, straightness, and ease of installation, a significant number reported issues with damaged, warped, or unusable boards. Some had to sort through multiple boards to find a sufficient number of usable ones, and some mentioned installation problems due to irregular or missing notches. On the positive side, customers highlighted the good value, versatility, and attractive appearance of the shiplap when properly installed. However, the high rate of defective boards seems to be a major concern, with some suggesting quality control or the manufacturing process may be the root cause.

Easy to work with
From what I've seen, the smooth face is good for just a quick 220g sanding, which isn't much work. Some of them weren't straight, and you can tell when they're next to each other because they leave uneven gaps.
