Redwood 4x8 for picnic table legs
No knots, solid redwood post
New mailbox post - make good selections.
You need a different supplier. I bought two and had to take one back because of the poor quality in terms of splitting and knots. I bought a third one after a new bunk was brought down. Pretty much the same as the second one I bought. While it is not as good as the first one, it's as good as it's going to get.

Beautiful quality wood
An essential part of building our raised garden bed. We were hoping to buy red wood or cedar. We’re optimistic that our garden bed will last for many years to come.

The color was really pretty. There were enough in great shape to make our daughter in laws table.
