Good but expensive
it is exactly what I was looking for and worked to create jambs for an opening with a barn door. I was a bit shocked by the price though. It is hard to believe a simple MDF jamb can cost this much. I was even more shocked by the finger joined pine price.

The jambs are as good of quality as you find anywhere else and Lowes keeps the price about a dollar cheaper than competitors. I prefer the MDF because the paint quality is nicer, but pine is better if you plan to hang heavy doors from them.
