Finally, a decent bagged mulch

This is actually like a mulch instead of too large pieces of wood that will float off at the first rain. It had a finer texture than many. For smaller jobs, those that need a bagged volume instead of a truck load, this gets the job done and it lays down tightly after wetting it.

Natural rich color. No dyes.

Have used this several years. Love it because it's fine ground, contains compost and doesn't float away. After a year it decomposes into really nice soil ready for a top off.

Don't waste your money!

I bought 20 bags of this mulch, and at 60 cents a bag less than my regular Texas Native Hardwood mulch, I thought it was good deal. It appeared similar, but I found that it was very inconsistent quality. Some was dark and water-logged, some gray and powdery, and some light tan. Many of the bags contained all three!
