Great if you're on a budget

I wanted to create some shade for my patio on a budget. Plan to have a professional build a whole deck and overhang in the next 2 years, but wanted something to provide some shade and aesthetics until then. Took about 6 hours total to build. Some of the poles were bent a bit, but not enough to be unusable. Not worth new price

We had it just over a year. Almost always remembered to tuck the canopy away for storms, often running out in the rain and winds to do so. Last week it rained overnight, without wind, just water, and it broke the middle support beam with the weight of the water on the canopy. We only paid $334 for it. Now i see it’s almost $450??? Nah, hardly worth what we paid let alone $100 more a year later. Funny enough, the canvas is the part that outlasted the metal frame!

Only came with 8 bolts when each leg needs 4.

Negative stars

For beginners, this thing was horrible to put together. I had to eventually hire someone to put it together for me. I made sure I asked him to bolt it to the concrete. For safety reasons. Living in Oklahoma and all. I’ve had it a total of two years when a wind pulled it out of the ground. Not as in the bolts broke. As in the metal ripped. Like it was rotten. I’m very grateful those edges didn’t go through my windows. All in all, I lost about $800. Considering what the pergola ended up damaging...

Nice in summer w/o wind

Only serious complaint is the magnets do not hold the shade in normal Wisconsin winds, (lite breeze, it's great). We need to find the mfg to purchase new magnets.

Don’t buy it!!!!

Bought it in March and after approximately 2 days of hard rain the entire frame bent and collapsed! Had to have Lowe’s come and pick it up for return. Don’t waste your money on this one, get a sturdier one that will hold up.

I can’t review, I haven’t received it yet! Where is it??? It was supposed to be here yesterday and then they said it would be here between 10:30 & 2:30 on Sunday 4/5 and it is 4 pm and still not here! Not happy!

Strong and budget friendly pergola

This pergola is PERFECT for budget shade in the back yard. My husband and I were wanting something for our patio that wouldn’t break the bank, and this gets the job done! The shade is so easy to move and retract for when bad weather is on the way. We recently had to replace the shade because I forgot to retract it when an ice storm blew in.
