Lowe's Boston Fern in 1.5-Gallon Hanging Basket

I bought 2 as I do every year for the front of our home. last year they were beautiful and lasted well into late fall early winter. This year, they were crushed. I thought that's ok, they will fill out, nope not at all. they are horrible lookin, embarrassing in fact and they are already turning brown. I will no longer buy these from Lowes.

Every spring I buy my porch fern hanging baskets at Lowe's and I am never disappointed. They are lush, well grown, healthy ferns and the baskets are full. They are so full that they divide easily if you need to fill empty baskets economically. I now leave mine all full because they are so huge and gorgeous that I hate making them smaller. A Yearly Green Tradition

For the past 8 years, we’ve bought this outdoor hanging plant and it’s become a recurring home for our neighborhood bird mommas. Every spring, generations of birds lay their eggs, raise babies and then return the next year. If we miss a year, we could confuse a generation of birds. It’s beautiful, spacious, shady and full of love. Thanks Lowe’s!

On sale as a 2 for $X was a great price. So far the stage of plants is perfect.. not too large and not too small.. so Medium Sized. Boston Ferns--found the secret.. they collect humidity so great for enclosed patios, etc (testing out this "fact") in SouthEastern State homes.. so it's said, I read.
