Step 1

Form a cardboard cone with a 3" base, and glue in place. (You could also use double-stick tape.) Trim a small hole at the top.

Step 2

For the hanger, thread twine up through the top of the cone and form a loop; leave several inches of twine inside the cone and tie a knot at that end.

Step 3

Glue biscuits all around the cone from the base up, overlapping each layer.

Step 4

Paint the tree green.

Step 5

To form the trunk, attach a screw eye at the top of a dowel and tie to the strand of jute left hanging on the underside of the cone.

Step 6

Spray orange peel texture to add snow; tie a ribbon at the top.
