  • Round object (such as a quart or pint of paint)


  • Nelson 12" wood shims, 42-pack (#3982)
  • Titebond 4-ounce premium wood glue (#218256)

Step 1

Place a series of wood shims around a cylindrical object such as a paint can (quart or pint).

Step 2

Glue a layer of shims on top of these, positioned so you can still see the shims you placed in Step 1 (pictured). Let dry.

Step 3

Spray-paint your wreath in a color of your choice (we used Valspar Gloss Berry) and let dry. If you like, add a bow or other flair, then hang.
