Spray the inside and outside of the pot with spar varnish and let dry.
Beginning at the bottom, bend a house number carefully to follow the contour of the pot. (You can vary the slant and orientation of the numbers to fill spaces as needed.) Apply silicone adhesive to the pot and press the number in place. Continue to add house numbers so that they overlap slightly to complete the bottom row. You'll need to bend each one slightly to follow the shape of the flowerpot.
Move up to the next row and continue adding overlapping numbers in rows until you reach the top. Allow the adhesive to dry overnight before using the pot.
