Step 1

Tape off the rims of both the 4-in and 6-in clay pots. Spray-paint half the pots with Valspar Frosty Berry and the others with Valspar Hacienda Tile, leaving the rims unpainted.

Step 2

Turn the tomato cage upside down and trim the ends to 7 inches. Then bend the ends toward the center and back up again to hold a 6-in clay pot to top off your decoration.

Step 3

 Securing cotter pins

Distribute 17 cotter pins around the upper three cage rungs. Poke a pin through a pot drainage hole and flare the ends to secure. Repeat for the remaining pots.
