Step 1

Sand the top faces and edges of both pine rounds starting with 120-grit sandpaper. Wipe clean and repeat using 180-grit sandpaper.

Good to Know

Always wipe or vacuum your project before sanding with the next higher abrasive grit to keep debris from marring the surface.

Step 2

Spray the edge of the 18-inch pine round with metallic gold paint. Spray the entire 15-inch pine round and let dry.

Step 3

Paint the top of the 18-inch pine round white (Snowbound). Add a second or third coat as needed, sanding lightly with 220-grit sandpaper between coats. Allow the final coat to dry overnight.

Step 4

Download and tape together the Holiday Lazy Susan Holly Pattern, and center it within the white painted area over tracing paper. Trace the pattern onto the white surface.

Step 5

Use a 1-inch paintbrush and artist’s brushes to fill in the traced design with the colors shown (Holiday Lazy Susan Painting Guide).

Step 6

Turn this colorful lazy Susan into a fun holiday table centerpiece or fill it with tasty treats.--Lowe’s Creative Ideas
