Project Resources


Step 1

Print out the four free play-food labels. Cut out the labels.

Step 2

Cut four 4-inch sections from the dowel using a miter saw or a handsaw.

Step 3

Sand the four dowel sections thoroughly to remove any rough edges and splinters. Wipe off with a moistened rag to remove dust and let dry.

Step 4

Glue one label onto each of the four dowel pieces.

Step 5

Once the label dries, make it more durable by applying a few layers of sealer: Mix three parts glue to one part water, and use a sponge brush to coat the surface. Smooth any air bubbles by hand and let dry overnight.
