  • Hot-glue gun and glue sticks
  • Wire cutters


  • Green artificial wreath (plain)
  • Ornaments of your choice
  • 24-gauge green floral wire, 100 feet, #81999
  • Valspar silver metallic spray paint

Step 1

Place the undecorated artificial wreath on a drop cloth and spray the front, back and edges with silver spray paint.

Good to Know

Avoid spraying heavy coats of paint. Several thin coats will look better and last longer than a few heavy coats.

Step 2

Use floral wire to attach a base layer of ornaments around the wreath, including the largest and heaviest decorations. Trim off any excess wire.

Step 3

Hot-glue additional ornaments, picks or decorations to the wreath and to the wired ornaments, filling the remaining space.

Step 4

If needed, make at least two loops of floral wire and attach them to the wreath to hang it.
