Instructions

Step 1

Bend the wire stem of each peacock feather pick in roughly the curve you want for the diameter of your wreath. (We used seven picks for a wreath about 15 inches in diameter measured between the pick wires.)

Step 2

Working from the back, arrange the feathers so they’re evenly distributed in a circle. Adjust the bend of the picks as needed.

Step 3

Cut 4-inch pieces of floral wire. Wrap a piece of wire around the picks where it will be hidden by the feathers. Twist the ends together to bundle the picks and cut off the excess wire.

Step 4

Wire on gold ornaments as desired.

If you want to hang the wreath so one location in it is at the top or bottom, make an open loop of wire and tie the end of this hanger to picks at the top of the wreath.
