Instructions

Step 1

Draw a rough outline of a kid-size body with boots and a hat on a canvas drop cloth. Fill in the body with paint. (We used Valspar's La Fonda Spice and Pirate's Treasure.) Let dry.

Step 2

Cut openings for a head, hands, and a belt made of rope. Provide fun props to hold, such as little pumpkins, paintbrushes, or soda pop.

Step 3

Hang the painted drop cloth from a makeshift clothesline. Shorter or younger kids may need to stand on a stepping stool.
