Step 1

Using pliers, unscrew any metal mounting hardware on the millwork.

Step 2

Test-stack millwork pieces as shown or in the combinations you prefer. For the pillars shown, A is #71651, B is #110899, C is #831, D (beneath C) is #74262, E is #295977, F is #236112, G is #236115, H is #236119, and I is #295979.

Step 3

Glue the pieces together centered on top of each other and tape them in place until the glue dries.

Step 4

Leave the pillars unfinished or apply a spray paint or clear coating of your choice. Add candles or ornaments as you like.

Good to Know

Don’t place burning candles on the wooden pillars.
