Instructions

Step 1

Remove mounting screws from millwork
Twist the screws counterclockwise to remove.

Use pliers to twist out the mounting screws from the millwork.

Step 2

Apply a small amount of wood glue to the flat end of one piece of millwork serving as the base and center the next piece on top of it. Press and hold the pieces together by hand for one minute before releasing and allow the glue to dry.

Step 3

To make the three trees shown, place a 1-3/4-inch wooden finial on a 4-inch table leg for the left tree, a 1-3/4-inch wooden finial on a 4-inch table leg on 1-7/8-inch round bun foot for the middle tree, and a 1-1/8-inch finial on a 4-inch table leg for the right tree.

Step 4

Apply a clear satin finish or paint the finished trees.
