  • 1/2" x 2" x 36" pine craft board (#50247)
  • 1" x 3" x 4' select pine board (#1207)
  • 2" x 48" poplar round dowel (#43934)
  • Titebond premium wood glue (#218256)
  • Package self-leveling picture hangers (#52716)
  • Valspar spray paint, Dogwood Petal
  • Valspar spray primer

Step 1

Have a Lowe's associate cut your plywood in half; it should measure 2' x 2'.

Step 2

Cut out shapes of your choice from a variety of materials; we used a craft board, pine, cardboard, and a 2" dowel.

Step 3

Glue and clamp the materials to a 2' x 2' plywood board in any configuration you like. Let dry.

Step 4

Prime and paint. Let dry.

Step 5

Attach a centered picture hanger to the top of the back and hang.

Good to Know

Painting all materials in a single, monochromatic color will give your art a unified look.
