Real Tree Alternative

“My wife wanted something different, so I came up with this pallet tree,” user SirRyan says. He used a wooden rod for the center of his handmade Christmas tree. To get the right shape, he then cut holes in the centers of different lengths of wood and stacked them with the largest at the bottom and the smallest at the top.

Recycled Wood Lights

User danielspaniel kept memories of past Christmases alive with this simple project. “Loosely based on the old Yule log tradition, we started keeping a portion of each year’s Christmas tree trunk to turn into these little wooden candles,” he says.
