Step 1

Apply two coats of paint (Ultra White shown) to the pine block.

Step 2

Curtains stapled to block

Fold the top of a curtain panel accordion-style in 3-inch folds until you gather the entire panel. Staple the panel to one side of the inside face of the block front. Repeat for the other panel, stapling it to the other side of the inside face of the block front.

Step 3

Screw two D-ring hangers to the back of the sides near the top.

Step 4

Curtain bed canopy

Determine where you want to hang the curtains over the head of your bed and place two level marks 6-3/4 inches apart. Drive mounting nails and hang the block, allowing the curtains to drape at the sides of the bed.
