Poor Quality and so expensive.

I got this brand over my usual brand because of the 50% rebate special. So I figured I'd give it a try. So far I've been very unimpressed. I'm on coat 4, with a sprayer, trying to get an even color. (lavender-gray over a light gray wall) Other brands over the same color wall in other rooms have been a single coat and done. I've never seen a paint so determined to reject pigment, and so visibly. This is mid-quality paint.

The paint is disappointing. Does not level or smooth well, and was a bit dry and crackly after three days on the wall.

the paint peels. maybe I misunderstood paint and primer. I did two coats because one wasn't enough. the color is beautiful though.

Good quality paint, but...

It looks and feels of good and durable quality. It's very thick though and yet, you still need to give your "project" a second coat (at least). I painted a wooden (white) door, which was not damagaed to begin with, but still, it required two or three coats of paint. Now when it's dry it looks and feels pretty good. DO NOT BUY!!!!

This is the first time I have ever written a review for anything... yes, it is that bad. Please do not waste your money on this paint. We bought a fixer upper about four years ago and every single room needed repainted. At the time, we bought Sherwin WIlliams Showcase paint and it was fantastic. don't waste your time/money

the quality of this product is awful! had to return it shortly after starting to paint because the brush was pulling the paint off the wall and the coverage was horrible. don't waste your money just go to Sherwin Williams store. ironically, the paint was less expensive and better quality at SW!

Paint is great, not the right color?

So, I don’t feel the color I got is at all what it’s supposed to be. My Lowe’s had an issue mixing this color as a sample for me where it was entirely yellow…and now the actual paint I got is SO GREEN. Not even close to the undertone I was expecting or to the sample. I got the shade “Hearts of Palm” but it looks more like painters tape..it dried down way darker than even the samples I got. I understand light changes things as well but this feels entirely different.

Do not plan on having to apply only 1 coat of pain

I did not like that I paid more for the paint with a one coat guarantee but it took 2 coats and then some.

Horrible

This is the first time I’m using Sherwin-Williams paint. I’ve used vaspar and behr before. I got this paint in caviar for my new living room. I mixed it well and painted less than 12 hours after I bought the paint and the coverage was horrible. Yes I got the satin sheet. Yes, I know that eggshell or Matte is more forgiving.
