Great paint!

Perfect paint! Great quality and coats wonderfully. Exactly the color I wanted as well as the finish! Just wish it wasn’t so expensive. Gave it 4 stars due to the fact that it’s not ideal for someone wanting to do a small remodel on a budget.

Great paint, Buy More than you think you need

The paint went on smoothly and covered very well in one coat (with some touch up due to amateur painters). It had lower odor than previous paints. The only negative was I thought it would cover about 400sq/ft of wall space but we only got about 250 and had to go back and buy more. A 400+ sq/ft bonus room took over 3 gallons of paint.

One coat guarantee is nonsense

Fine paint, but not sure it's worth the additional cost. Says it's one coat guaranteed but I guarantee you will need two coats. So budget for two - might as well buy the mid level showcase option because I really don't see any improved performance beyond it.

Do not recommend

This paint says it has primer but after 2 coats of pink still can see the light gray underneath. I will need to do a 3rd coat which is ridiculous for this price of paint. Will need to buy a 3rd gallon for a standard bedroom which is becoming costly. I painted my entire house with Benjamin Moore’s and only needed 1-2 coats. Do not buy!!

I painted over a light wall. It covered completely

I got this paint figuring even though it said it was one coat it probably wasn't, but it did a fantastic job and I loved the color.

Ick, hope you've got weeks

I bought this in kettle black. Darkest color in the world. Painted over fresh white drywall. Should be easy right...no. Took at least 5 coats. Then within the week its all chipped off...under a window where there is no traffic. God forbid you have to wipe it down...I wiped it down 3 months after painting and it basically wiped the whole sheen off and there's a white cast....this is just with a soft towel and water!!! This paint is almost impossible to use properly. We're not strangers to painting but this stuff is NOT actually Sherwin Williams. It is merely a product that they put their name on, probably in exchange for that sweet, sweet HGTV licensing money. It's also incredibly expensive for how bad it is... It will not coat a wall evenly, period, does not self-level at all, and does not dry with a satin finish as stated on the can.
