A great Wi-Fi thermostat with easy installation!
I liked the simplicity of removing the former unit and installing the new thermostat. I was done in under 30 minutes (including turn main breaker off & back on) then testing it!

Complete waste of money
Very bad purchase. I don’t like it at all. I don’t like the fact when I set the temperature to what I want to stay on such as setting it for 74°. I don’t like the fact that it only sets that temperature to a certain time and then it does whatever it feels like doing. It has not saved me out on electric. In fact my electric bill is higher than it’s ever been before. I wish I never purchased this product and spent $200 on a piece of garbage.

Ecobee Enhanced thermostat installed by HVAC contractor. Good multifunctional thermostat with a great App. Thermostat would benefit from a larger “heat on” flame indicator or screen colour change while heating to make it more easily visable.

Only buy 1. Don't get for a cottage.
I just replaced a competitor brand with 2 ecobee Enhanced, and I wish I hadn't. They're for a cottage in Canadian summers and winters, so it needs hours to pre-heat / cool, which makes the occupancy motion sensor adjustments useless. There is no simple "away" function offered on the ecobee, it requires 3 steps. If ever you have more than 1 ecobee thermostat, it requires 3 steps for each thermostat, as there is no way to group them together. You have to change each one individually, so 4 thermost...

Manage home heat and cooling from anywhere
Ecobee is designed for heat pumps, squeezing all the heat /cooling it can from a heat pump by managing demand to give 2 hours for pump to provide the temperature demanded at the time demanded. Once we were cruising the Pacific while kids & grandkids were in our home and the heat pump failed. I used Ecobee to switch to Auxiliary heat from the Pacific Ocean. Very easy to alter the heat/cool pattern remotely. Set and forget.

Great Upgrade
The thermostat was installed almost three weeks ago, it is alot better than the one I had. The touch screen is easy to use, connects to the app instantly and responds immediately. I haven't had the opportunity to use all the features but it offers option for setting up a schedule and monitors usage. It also notified me when I needed to change the filter.

Massive quality of life upgrade
From the reviews I’d read, Ecobee seemed to be the gold standard for smart thermostats, and in my experience so far, I concur. For a 'smart' thermostat, it's not very smart
I had a Nest for years, but it kept failing/blowing a fuse almost immediately after the warranty ran out. So, I went back to an old programmable thermostat. I prefer the convenience of a smart thermostat so I can adjust it from anywhere especially when I'm not home. This had solid reviews.
