I have two pots and love the look and size of them. However, we didn’t pull the drain plugs before planting. You do this by separating the pot from the pedestal and removing the small rubber plug from the pot. We discovered standing water in one of the pots today. We have had a lot of rain in the last week and a half. I removed the plants from both pots and the water reservoirs were overflowing and the soil had started to smell. Nice and sturdy planter

I bought 2 of these planters two years ago. I love them. They are sturdy and look really nice. The only negative is that my one planter has this weird coloring on it now and I don’t know where it came from or how it got there (see photo). I tried washing it off and nothing is working. Two flowers I had in that pot also died. The instructions for the drain plug should be more prominent. I didn’t know these planters had a drain plug.
