allen + roth Wylie Cove 4-Piece Patio Conversation Set

DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN BOLTS! And you'll be fine.

This applies to the couch and coffee table which I also purchased. The furniture is nice looking and comfortable. It's larger than a lot of patio furniture on the market. The seats are wider and the flat arm rests are really comfortable. You can sit comfortably with room for throw pillows next to you. The backs all all pieces lean back with a spring action that makes these way less stiff than other furniture. Quality is pretty good. We'll see how long the cushions last. Ours are under a Gazebo b...

I like it but a few improvements could be made

I like the overall set. It looks very nice on our deck. I put all the pieces together myself, each piece became easier as I repeated steps from the previous ones. The overall quality of the set is very good but not great primarily because or the treads on the screws, bolts, and/or receiving tread.if a few more dollars would be put into these parts it would raise the quality to excellent. The other item to note is the weight that the chairs and love seat will support. For ourselves the chair weig...

5 stars for comfort; 3 stars for quality

We purchased these chairs because they are exceedingly comfortable. The thigh cushion is an appropriate length, the back cushion is supportive, and the spring mechanism provides just the right amount of resistance. Probably one of the most comfortable chairs I've ever sat in. That said, the build quality is about what you would expect for a fairly inexpensive set of outdoor chairs. Assembly is straight forward and takes about 30 minutes per chair. We purchased 4 of these (they come packed 2 per ...

This Set Looks Classy!

I love that this set is aluminum with resin wicker trim. It is a nice looking solid set with a gentle rocking motion. The cushions are thick, well made, and zipper off. The light blue-green color is pretty and unique. The assembly is a little tricky. Scroll down to the Q&A section to find the suggested YouTube video to watch. It's more help than the included printed instructions were. My husband used his own tools, and told me to throw the included ones away. The frame and cushions have a 5 year...

Most comfortable chair

Purchased 4 chairs for my patio and we really enjoy them--they allow us to enjoy the outdoors much more. The cushions are very comfy and are a soft blue color. The chair is wide and deep, comfortable enough for all body types--which can be hard to find. The arm rests are metal as others mention so be aware of that if they will sit in the sun, mine sit in a covered patio area so I haven't had any issues. The spring motion action is very nice, adds to the relaxation factor we were looking for. The...

Mixed feelings

Read other reviews before buying so I had some idea what I was getting into. As stated by others there really aren’t any directions. Not rocket science but for some it could be confusing as to what goes where. For the most part if you have assembled much from scratch it goes together well. One stripped bold hole... DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN... BOLT HOLES ARE ALUMINUM THREAD AND WILL STRIP EASILY. Last chair out of 4 had damage, I don’t think it was shipping damage. Called and received two new arms wit...

I love these chairs!

I was nervous about buying these chairs because the lack of reviews but I am so happy I did. They are so comfortable and oversized. The cushions are thick, comfortable and the perfect light green with a touch of blue. The chairs have a spring seat in them so you can lean back if you want. They were very easy to put together. The arm rests are wide enough to sit a drink on, if needed. I’ve had them for over a month and no complaints. I’ll check back in a year if my opinion changes.

This is a nice comfortable chair.

The chairs were moderately easy to assemble. Using a ratchet wrench helps. Instructions are adequate but review the schematic carefully as you assemble the product. The seat cushions are nice and firm and we anticipate that they will hold their shape. The chairs fit nicely on our screen porch. We bought some chair covers on a separate order. Comfort was a prime consideration in buying these chairs.

Not water resistant

Although the cushions are comfortable, they are not good for outdoor living. We had rain and then dry weather for 4 days. The cushions held so much water it was still dripping 4 days later. If you buy this set, be sure to always have it covered when not in use in case of rain. I expected to have the fabric be water resistant. It is not.

Took forever to assemble, but this set is AMAZING!

I bought this along with the matching love seat. Give yourself some time for assembly as it took me over 6 hours to get it all together. Also, a good socket set and allen wrench tool is highly recommended. This kit comes with an allen key and a set of wrenches, but having your own will make setup easier. As for the actual chairs, they are phenomenal! Well worth the pain that was setup!
