Great when they work
The product looks nice and works well for a while, but we have gone through about 4 or 5 of them because at some point, the board just fries on them and they stop working. They are cheap, so we rebuy them (we have more than one in the room, so easier to buy one of these than two new ones), but it is a pain in the something.

It may just be me (of course it’s me!) but I found this light to be a little difficult to install. I did the plug in installation as it was going to be too much to hardwire the sconce. The problem started when I did not receive any screws for the installation. So I used what I had and it just made it a little tricky to get the correct size but not too bad - just a nuisance. Just the right amount of extra light
My living room has the right amount of light for TV watching, but can be a bit dark when we want to play a game. This wall sconce added just the right amount of light without needing to add another table lamp. I like that you can hardwire or run to an outlet. The cord is a bit short for where I used it and needed to add an extension cord. I also like that it is dimmable. Overall, this is working for my situation and I am pleased.

We love it so much that we’re buying another one just like it and our older son wants a pair of them for his room. It fit in with any decor even in the hallway and foyer. Very easy to turn on and off with the click of a button. You can hide the cord inside the wall if you’re so inclined, or you can hide the cord with slim cord keepers. Lowe’s also sales these. Love the lampshade. It’s a beautiful sconce.

Welcome light in a dark small hallway-looks good!
This light was perfect for a small dark hallway into our master bedroom. Because of ductwork we couldn’t put up a ceiling light and really didn’t want to run wire mould up the wall to hardwire something. Lamps could not be installed level and plum
I bought two of these lamps in store for my bedroom. However, both lamps could not be installed level due to poor manufacturing. The rod holding the lamp is not installed perfectly perpendicular to the square base that it attaches to. Therefore any way you hang it: if you install the square base level, then the lamp is either leaning to one side OR if you ensure that the lamp is straight then the square base will be crooked on the wall. Nice Contemporary Lamp
This sconce is very nice in black finish with a white fabric shade. We selected to mount sconce in our office in a corner with included wall plug. The lamp has a dimmer switch to adjust illumination for reading or accent. The one knock I would say, the bulb socket is problematic when trying to screw in the candelabra bulb, straight. May be a defect from factory. We do expect a better product from Allen & Roth
