We loved the design and the cooler insert when we saw it at Lowe's! I should have listened to other reviews saying it was hard to assemble. It's 12 bolts.....how hard can it be? First, one leg was the wrong shape so it wouldn't fit. after stops at 2 Lowe's I got a new leg. Then some of the screws wouldn't catch. After some hard work, I got all but 1 in. The middle beam seemed too short. I had to almost completely unscrew the legs to get the beam to fit. Success!!.....not so fast! the cooler inse...

Defects!!!!

We were very excited to purchase this set from Allen & Roth, as we have always enjoyed their products. Unfortunately this time our experience fell short. The chairs came out wobbly upon assembly with significant discoloration. The table was the greatest point of frustration because the holes did not align and the bottom bar was 2 inches shy of reaching both sides. Luckily we were able to drill new holes to attach the leg posts, but with the discrepancy on the bottom bar, we had no choice but to ...

Cooler Lid Issues

Table was delivered in decent shape save for a couple minor scratches - no showstoppers. Went together easily until attempting to set the cooler and lid in place. Come to find out, the hole isn't remotely square and the tack welds in the corners won't allow . Was able to get the cooler dropped in but the lid will not go (probably requires a mallet and then who knows if it will even come out). Disappointed to say the least.

Hardware not included

The table came with out a hardware package and directions. It’s pretty self explanatory on how to put it together but we should have to go through the hassle of buying extra screws, nuts, and bolts or sitting on the phone with CS and waiting forever and day to get what’s supposed to be included. The table is beautiful though. I think Lowe’s failed with this collection. The chairs that go with are either not available or can’t be assembled properly.

Bad workmanship

Purchased the table with the chairs. First there was not a hardware package with the table so I was going to use one of the chairs hardware so at lest we could use the set minus one chair until I could get the hardware. I couldn’t assemble the table because one of the legs is cut too short! As you can see in pictures, one of them is correct and one is cut wrong. I tried every possible way of arranging them but it won’t work.

This set is exactly what I was looking for except the poor quality! Although the table was easy to assemble, it has dents, the cooler lid doesn’t fit properly (you have to bang on it to get it in and then you can’t get it off) and certain areas of the table top are not sealed properly and I’m afraid it will rust. I also had a bench that wasn’t made properly and have to wait 3-5 days for CS to call about that!! Thinking of returning the whole set!

Nice looking, easy install

The table goes together very quickly- 2 people needed to move it, but 1 person assembled it in under 30 minutes. The hardware was all included, minus 2 leveling screws on the bottoms of one leg which wasn’t a deal breaker for me. Paint is in pretty good shape. Have just had it for a few days so can’t speak to longevity of the product yet.

Nice Set

The set was easy to put together. However the table came with a huge paint flake that peeled off on one of the legs and the cover to the cooler in the center of the table has to be hit with a rubber malet for it to fit in the space. Other than those two problems, we love it.

Poorly made in manufacturing

There was rust on the legs of the table and underneath the lid of cooler (even though says rust proof). The wood top has a defect on it. The black paint on top has multiple defects where it is not smooth. Seems like this product is not looked at from a quality perspective before they are shipped out.

Should Have Listened to the Other Reviews

Table cake damaged and clearly a return from another customer. Chipped paint, scratches, and extra dent holes. Unfortunately, they make the boxing and shipping such that it’s more of a pain to return vs. fix and keep. “You’re welcome” to whoever would have gotten it next if we decided to send it back.
