Nice looks, questionable quality for the price

This lamp has a nice sharp, almost steampunk look. It's very convenient that it comes pre-wired with a two prong cord for quick and easy instillation if you don't mind a cord hanging down your wall. It also comes with a mounting plate for internal wiring to a circular wall box. As an electrician, I would change out the internal snap connectors to wire nuts, but Europe uses those connectors all the time, so that would be your call. I like that this lamp is available to be a plug in or direct-wired. I wanted to put it above the bed in my farmhouse, but it doesn't have a headboard & I didn't like the look of the cord hanging down, so I put it above a mirror for now (& I'm going to make a headboard & move it). Good but could be better

The light has a nice weight to it and adjustments were easy to do. You must use two hands when moving it. If you used the plug in option the wall mounting plate doesn't allow the lamp base to set flush with the wall so it will rock for a while after you turn it on or adjust it. Quite annoying, I'm going to try to put something on the back or the mounting bracket to keep it from rocking so much on the wall. I really like this sconce. The fact that it can be hard wired or used as a plug in means you have options for install and you don't have to call an electrician. I used it as a plug in to highlight artwork. It's a nice brass color, not too bright, which made it flow with the different gold tones in the room. It's very easy to install. The screws are provided. I picked this lamp because of its multiple points of adjustment and the ability to extend it outward if desired. I was surprised as the quality of the lamp and the appearance of the lamp itself. Cool light with options

This light is great. The option of hard wiring or just plugging it in is nice. we wanted it for the plug in option but it is nice that down the road we could hard wire it. Too bright with clear globe; weak joints

I was very excited to use this light for a puzzle table that was too dark. Unfortuately, the negatives to this light do not make it useable as purchased. First, the good....light was relatively easy to install. Directions were clear and straightforward. The bad....the globe is clear and heavy. This wall light looks fine, although not very well designed. The wall mount plate attaches with two screws near the middle of the plate, but it should have a screw near the top. The weight of the lamp pulls the top of the plate away from the wall, so it doesn’t sit flush after the light is installed. Also, the edges of the wall mount plate is VERY sharp; it cut my finger when I was pressing it onto the mounting screws. WEAR GLOVES!
