There were 2 of these in stock at my local store. I bought them both even though the boxes were in rough condition (ripped sides etc). One of them the base is damaged and dented but I am going to keep it as it is basically livable. The 2nd one though I can't screw the lamp pieces together. So I am going to return it cause I literally can't get it to fit together. I am going to try another store - a bit farther away to see what their stock looks like. Getting it back in the box is a chore. S...

Came damaged - the product inside, not the shipping box even though it was shipped in the product box... I contact support and was directed to take it to a store to return. If I wanted to go to a store, I would not have ordered online.

floor lamp base
I had a floor lamp that quit working. Replacing just the floor lamp base allowed me to re-use the lamp shade, which I really like and would be hard to replace. So far the lamp base is working fine.

I ordered this lamp online and received the old display that was dirty, scratch and the switch to turn on and off the lamp was crooked. The lamp is a very awkward height as well. Its not as tall as most.

nice heavy well balanced lamp
I have 2 small children and one large dog in my house and wanted something heavy and well balanced so it wouldn't tip over easily. This lamp is both of those things. So far it has not even tipped when the kids and dog bump into it.

Lowe's has two colors to chose from, a silver colored one and a dark brown. Very sturdy. I would have given 5 stars, but you have to buy the lamp shade separately.
