Do NOT buy this trash unit. There is an issue with the cooling/freezing system. I bought this for my garage to have a backup freezer for my bulk meats and beverages. When I first bought it, I didn’t know this was an issue until my fridge went warm and I lost my eggs and milk. I was aware then to defrost it often so I did. TERRIBLE - DO NOT BUY
This is the worst refrigerator on the planet. It's constantly needing to be defrosted. The freezer gets frosted over and then the refrigerator gets warm. I unplug it for a day - lose all of my food - plug it back in and then it works for a little while again. I HATE THIS REFRIGERATOR.

Size and shelves good, thermostat not so good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for the size and I like the external coils on the back for ease of cleaning. The shelves inside and door bins are good. The undesirable feature is the thermostat. First the directions are not that clear on setting the temperature. A simple dial where a person can tweak the temperature to get it more precise than having leds to select for a not so accurate temperature selection. The thermostat was very temperamental to start with....

Absolutely exceeded expectations!

Great RV replacement for Norcold gas/electric

Defrost problems caused by air flow control
I was surprised to find my Whirlpool was made in Mexico using more lightweight plastic materials than one would have seen from this brand a few years ago. It does take less space in my resigned small kitchen and serves its purpose without hard use. The defrost problem is an engineering fault, part of which is fairly easy to fix if you are a do-it-yourselfer. First, place a bath towel in the bottom of the fridge and have more on hand.
