I bought this refrigerator in August of 2022. The first few years this appliance worked like it was supposed to. Come December 2025/ January 2026, we have nothing but problems with the back of the freezer completely freezing up, to the point it affects the cooling in the one side. We defrosted and deep cleaned coils ( which are located on the bottom/ floor) twice before we called on the warranty to have them come look and fix it this past March. Do not buy, the ice maker broke after just over 30 days old! Lowe's won't touch it. I have to call the manufacture ....and what a pain in the but that is. I've been on hold for hours waiting for assistance and nothing yet. Too bad the return date has passed or this piece of unusable trash would be returned. Lowe's why do you sell such junk??????? We bought this refrigerator about a week ago to replace a Kenmore Elite. Unfortunately, the refrigerator has been a huge disappointment. When it was delivered it wasn't leveled and moved every time the door was opened. They sent someone to level it which should have been done when delivered. A week later it is leaking all over the floor. Trying to get someone to come and look at it not having much luck. We have size constraints so we bought this unit. big mistake. Too much for too little.

Bought a fridge 8 cu ft smaller for $500 more JUST to get it to fit in my home. Ice and water dispenser area is too short for anything larger than a 16 oz cup.

not a good purchase

i have had this refrigerator for less than 3 years and it has been nothing but problems. The ice maker troth spills water over into the back of the freezer and constantly freezes up the condenser and fan. Ice collects around the fan and it makes an extremely loud noise. I have to pull this freezer apart about every 2-3 weeks to defrost it. Also the bottom freezer drawer is constantly frozen to the bottom of the freezer. I am constantly removing 2 inches of ice from the freezer. It also leak...

Whirlpool 21.4 cu ft refrigerator

The ice maker on this refrigerator makes more noise than it should. Seems to run constantly. Makes weird noises during the night and day for no reason. Other than that.....it's OK.

Whirlpool Side by Side refrigerator/ freezer

I chose this Whirlpool side by side because I liked r side. its exterior and because it has three drawers in the fridge side.

Works well, small aesthetic issues.

Does the job! What more can you ask for? Only complaint is the plastic dust cover from the factory is literally clipped under some parts in what I assume is a lazy manufacturing move. Leads me to having little tiny tips of plastic peeking out certain edges l. Also the water spout dribbles and leaves unsightly marks. Really undermines the black finish.

Manufacturer door issue

Known manufacturer right side door opens with no way to slow down. Hinge is manufactured incorrectly. Manufacturer will not fix. Be aware.

Issue is Lowe's delivery & install, not product

If you want this item and expect it to be installed, I strongly recommend purchasing from another business. (Grand Appliance will match competitors’ pricing.) I’m extremely disappointed in what I was led to believe would happen during delivery and installation.
