[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Whirlpool dishwasher has exceeded our expectations! Replaced our 4 year old contractor installed dishwasher from our new house build. Should have done it sooner!. This model cleans extremely well and and is super quiet. Love that the door pops open a little automatically after completed to let air dry. The 3 racks with adjustable 2nd rack adds flexibility in stacking taller items. Each rack has its own water sprayer to avoid blocking of wa...

Totally regret buying this, trust the bad reviews.
We bought this as a replacement when the basic GE machine that we had used for 17 years started leaking from the bottom. We figured that since our dishwasher was so old that we should just replace it instead of attempting to repair it. I thought that this machine would be a good replacement since the one we had before was pretty basic and this one has thousands of good reviews. I was a little reluctant to get this because of the bad reviews, but since most of them sounded like they either got a ...

To wash or not to wash, flip a coin
Got this dishwasher new with new house. One of these worse dishwashers I've ever owned. From the get go after 3 washes the pump/motor module under the bottom side stopped working. So I figured, "huh maybe I need to just flush it out", did that nothing changed. As a person who works on appliances i noticed the spindle was rather tight in the housing, I pulled it out cleaned it and felt better, tested and it ran great for 2 weeks then I had to do everything again, this while the spindle was in ...

Beware of Early Failures
My new home came with a full set of Whirlpool kitchen appliances. The fridge, range, and microwave have all performed great. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for this dishwasher. It worked decently for about the first year, but by year three, the circulation pump had failed, and the wash baskets had started to rust. Thankfully, I’m fairly handy and I was able to replace the circulation pump myself. Since then, it’s been working better than ever, almost like it was never functioning properly ...

Did not even last 3 years
I have been using this dishwasher for about 3 years now. Over the summer the dishwasher stopped cleaning my dishes. They would come out as dirty as they went in. I was left with the dishwashing detergent all over the dishwasher. Cleaned all the filters and the spray arms and nothing was blocked. Had the pump that controls the spray arms replaced and thought the dishwasher was fixed. Well it fixed part of a problem. Now my dishwasher leaves soap in some of the dishes, they come out soaking wet (e...

Short life appliance.
Last month I got a notice that I could buy an extended warranty for my dishwasher - too late! We bought this 07/23 and it is already kaput. I am told the unit has an F4E3 error code and the cost to repair and replace a pump motor will run into the hundreds. That would leave me with a machine no better than when it was new and, thus, one likely to die again in just a few years. It should not have broken so soon. I have family with a 15 year-old Whirlpool dishwasher, a different model to be sure. ...

Couple things I would change
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My second cycle, emptied the clean dishes, filled dishwasher, added soap, closed door, pushed start and walked away. Came back later and dishes were not washed. Closed the door again and pushed start, the lights came on showing what cycle I was using, 30 seconds later, they shut off. Checked all the documentation and on page 4 of the user guide it says this: If your Start/Resume button is located on front of door: push door firmly closed. The...

Does A Good Job For One Year
We remodeled our kitchen a year and a half ago, the dishwasher barely made it past the one year mark before it quit drying and washing properly. When it worked properly it did a great job. I know it’s a cheap dishwasher and you do get what you pay for but what made it worse was I tried to contact for help to see if anything could be done since when the issues first started, it was only 2 months out of warranty but just got told to schedule a service, and that was a dead end. When I tried to sche...

Do NOT buy this. Furious with Whirlpool for producing such a cheap innefective product. The only thing positive you could say about it is it isn't terribly loud and the dishes get clean. No one should have to buy a product and be expected to buy extra products or put toxic chemicals in their system (as if we aren't exposed to enough) to try to get dry dishes. The heated dry needs to run for several minutes longer as well as an option to run again. Every piece of silverware bowl mug that isn't a...
