Last whirlpool appliance I will buy. Pure junk! Waiting until I have saved up enough money to buy a new frig and send this junk to the junk yard. Less than 2 years old, had service within the first year. If you want ice, we hope it is less than 2 8oz cups at a time because you will be lucky to get that much every other day. Nice unit with an inconsistent ice maker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems to work very well with the exception of the ice maker. It is inconsistent and the hopper door sometimes fails to close. This causes an ice jam in the chute that must be manually dislodged. Seems to happen 2-3 times per week. You'd think at this price point, Whirlpool would have such a simple thing figured out. Middle drawer is very handy and we use it more than we thought we would.

Door Rusts!!
I HATE MY WHIRLPOOL REFRIGERATOR! It rusts at the edges of the in door water dispenser. We called Whirlpool who changed out the door buy it happened all over again. I would call them again, but what's the point? I'm stuck with this rusty refrigerator! We spent thousands on this just three years ago and will have to spend thousands more now! Noisy and very worse.
Almost 2 years old. we bought a new home with whirlpool appliances but needed a refrigerator, so we bought this model. It was a little louder then our previous Lg. aftr a few months it started getting louder and now it's makes guest jump when they hear the the compressor kicks in or when water fills up for ice maker. we have been getting use to the noise but, enough is enough, gonna have see about calling for service.

Don't buy, or at least have a backup refrigerator
I'm done with whirlpool, this is my 2nd refrigerator in the last 8 years. First one made it to just outside the 5 year extended warranty I bought with a refrigerant leak which was going to cost more to fix than replace. So I replace it with this one and after 2.5 years it has the same symptoms, doesn't get cold enough. It's not iced up, all the fans work and according to on board diagnostics all the sensors say they are fine.
