This is a replacement for the 4.5 yr old Whirlpool of which the compressor crashed. This refrig is much quieter, and roomier than the previous one. So far I like it very much.

I purchased this refrigerator over the summer. I researched other brands and models for a long time. Ultimately, I went with whirlpool because our last fridge was a used Whirlpool and that sucker was so solid. Purchased in black color. Unfortunately there is a surface issue that appears to be from something at a factory level as both that I tried to order had the same issue.
