The Good and the Bad

I got this refrigerator a week ago for my kitchen. I wanted maximum storage, and this gives it to me. The crew who installed it was great and went above and beyond. I don't yet have a water line to it and so cannot comment on the drinking water and ice features. However, the exterior water/ice feature does NOT have a removable (or any) water catchment tray which is unfortunate if any water or ice leaks happen--and you know they will. Only cons we have is the water dispenser nozzle is a little close to the depression control so when you are done filling and remove the cup or bottle it doesn't quite close in time before spraying a little in the tray below. The icemaker/water dispenser in-door seems to take less room than my previous French door (different make). Operation is quiet. Drawers and shelves are arranged for maximum flexibility. Serious flaws

We bought this refrigerator less than a year ago, it was delivered & installed on 7/4/25. Delivery & installation went fine, though all of the shipping plastic cover was impossible to remove completely. There are still little pieces in edges & crevices. Ice maker doesn't work & water tastes acrid

The refrigerator was delivered on July 5th. The ice maker does not work properly. The water dispenser dispenses water and I was told to throw out 3 gallons of water. The water tastes acrid and has an after taste. I was told to wait 24-48 hours from the time that the refrigerator was plugged in for the ice maker to start working and then throw away the first 3 batches of ice. We purchased this after our Kitchen Aid fridge of 14 years crapped out. We needed a white fridge with water/ice as well as a spacious one. The first refrigerator Lowes delivered and set up, after the delivery people did damage to our walls did not work at all. The second one they delivered had pieces falling off and the imbeciles also damaged our walls. The second team that set it up, failed to secure a rod on the drawer and it fell off.
